I didnt get it, becuase it sold locally. Just wanted to say I hate all you cherry picking west coasters that leave us east coasters screwed....

Anyone out there that can come up with a nice colored teardrop feel free to PM me. The person wanted $500 shipped for this one, it was 6-7" and I would have paid that but he sold it locally. I have him looking for another one so we will see. I also like bright blue squamosas and nice B&W maximas.

Very nice Matt. I just cant find them out here. I go to my LFS twice a week and to the big LFS about once a week and they never have nice clams. I love clams...I have bought a bunch from Barry but he never has rare ones listed. I wish there was a way us east coasters could get first dibs.....

I was just reading Miguels reef farming book and he was talking about getting transhipments that are repackaged in LA. He was saying when they repackage them to give them fresh water, they also cherry pick a bit so you end up with a few boxs of nothing but red mushrooms.

I have several people on the hunt for me so I know I will score sooner or later.....hopefully sooner.

Have you requested them from Barry? They never hit his site, but he sells them.

The tranship cherry picking doesn't exactly equate to them staying here. Typically they get sent to another person for more money.

Best clams don't even hit the US shores, EU takes the cake as they pay far better, and upfront :lol:

What Gresham said.. the "internetization" of ornamentals pretty much gives everyone a level playing field to get stuff. However we do have the benefit of turning Tyree LE corals into weeds

I have put in some request with barry but maybe I need to remind him. So EU get the nicer clams and Japanese get the rare fish lol...I guess Americans are cheap.

I am going to go send him an email now...
