Ask Rich (Thales) he had some groovy soup deli container that he brought stuff back from NY with.
Btw are heatpacks really necessary? I know it gets cold in the cargo hold, but I've opened my bags shortly after getting them off a flight and it's not like they're chilly.

yeah, i'd probably go without the heat pack in september.
Btw, corals and fish aren't in the "NOT ALLOWED" list. if you can find a nice tsa agent, have them look it up. They'll just have to open each container and swab the water.
That is, if you can get someone to look at the books.

The girlfriend's parents live in florida. Last time she went to visit she stopped and asked the TSA on the way out. After asking UP the chain of command 3 or 4 people, and having them check all their regulations, the TSA couldn't find a reason fish would be disallowed.
So they said they'd swab the water and let her through. They actually teased her for a minute and said she'd have to taste the water...
All three supervisors were waiting for her when she came back through the airport. They were all ready to see the fish and corals, but the GF didn't have time to go shopping.
Back to topic,
Make sure you guys check out the ManhattanReefs suite at the hotel. (since the seahorse.org girls dropped the party ball...)

Seems that last year I read a thread about the deals not being that great though. Seems there was a lot of nice stuff.. and great selection at the trade show, but you were still gonna pay LFS prices.
Was that here, or did I read that somewhere else? Ive never been to one of these. Would be nice to come across something where you could get somedecent frages for cheaper though

FWIW, you can still check them at the baggage counter. Just pack them well as if you were shipping them.

I've worked there. It's a great theater. That place is GIANORMOUS.
I worked "high school musical.' Imagine 4500 Screaming 10 year olds.

it was actually quite funny.
Since it was hich school musical, all the kids knew ALL the songs.
THis is how it went, EVERY show:
House lights go down, kids start SCREAMING.
Curtain goes up.
Lights come up on stage, and the kids realize NOBODY from the movie is in the show
Silence...(4500 little kids thinking "wtf")
then they slowly get into it.
I chuckled every night.

WTF??? Dropped the party ball?? We had the best one yet at IMAC a couple of weeks ago. I just stopped sending out a general broadcast invitation because,
1. The RDO Sumpers are too cool to show up :roll:
2. Some folks *cough*fragexchange*cough* gave us attitude when we asked for a few bucks at the door to help pay for the HUNDREDS of dollars we spend on booze and supplies (we NEVER get even a quarter of what we spend, we don't even try) and
3. I overheard someone say they had to be nice to us because our parties are the only ones with hot chicks.
So I decided screw it, it's invite only, ya scurvy ingrates. Aaaaarrrrrgh!
