I set this up for him three months ago. He had a few of the corals in an older 15 tall tank on his dresser and I wanted him to have the dresser space back so we got this. He has had a few issues with learning to mantain it properly but so far so good. He does it all him self from water changes (I have to lift the bucket to pour the new water in) to clean the glass and feed the fish. He even cleans his protein skimmer.
His anemone bleached a month or so back due to overheating.

Here is a side shot.

Very nice for an 8 year old. My kids will get excited when we talk, but I can't get them to actually go through doing anything to take care of a tank.... so they have empty tanks....

Its cute when I take him to my LFS and since we know the fish guy there he starts trying to talk reef with the guy. He just hates going to the far away LFS, thats when he needs a bribe. I keep telling him now that he doesnt have much more room though lol. He has 5 fish in there, so fish have been out for awhile.

I always love it when the kids come into my shop and are interested. There are a few around here that can name most of the fish without any problems. They just amaze me.
