Ok, in advance, sorry for the long question.....

I am about to begin setting up my first big tank and need some advice about how many circuits and recepticles to provide to the aquarium.

size of tank is still a toss up so best I can say for sure is 90 to 180 gallons no bigger, no smaller.

I won't be going the sps route with this setup so lighting will be about 720w total on display, 110w on refugium and probably about 500w total on various heaters for top off tanks and such. I know pumps and other items like controllers will be used but unsure what total watage will be there.

I was thinking of running two 20A circuits with 8 receps on each circuit and one dedicated circuit for a chiller 1/4hp

this will be an inwall setup with a laundry room behind and the breaker box is located in the laundry room so pulling electrical will be a breeze. I have six spaces available in the box and box is 200A service. House has gas furnace and gas water heater so only real draw is dryer and range.

thanks...

god i'm slow...lol

Thanks for the reply!

I figured 1 x 20A circ and 1 dedicated chiller circ would do it but I figured I'd pull the Tim Taylor and add 1 more 20A line for more power....
