I know, I know - this is fish related and does not belong here. But I'm too scared to go top-side any more. Besides, who else can I trust to give me the straight dope. :)

Anywho, pretty much every LFS that I have supported over the years has gone out of business, and the ones that are left are way out of the way. I am looking to add a few fish to the 360 in my office, and mail order may be the best bet. But I was not overly impressed that last time I went this route (many years ago). Any recommendations?

MO = mail order? Or are you looking for a distributer in Missouri?

The old Flying Fish Express got bought by Dr. Foster & Smith.
I've used them and they're customer service is good. Quality is iffy, though. Good guarantee.

Personally, I don't much like buying a fish that I don't see before the purchase.

I remember FF. But I know what you mean - I feel the same way. But it is almost impossible to pick up livestock for my office tank.

The only place close enough to my office is Old Town Aquarium. Nice, but way overpriced. But the big problem is that I can never find parking near the store at lunch time. Everywhere else that I would go to is out in the burbs and doesn't open until noon, so I can't pick up anything on the way in.

So I thought I would give MO another try.

I've bought fish from the Marine Center a few times. Dealing with them is not without issue, but I had good luck with odd stuff. Not recently though. Not particularly cheap.

Post a pic of your 360. :D

I like www.sealifeinc.net . I know of a public aquarium that purchases from them and gave a good reference and that is why I originally chose to order from them. I have orderred several times and everything always arrived in perfect condition. No fish orderred from them have ever had any disease (I've orderred maybe 5-10 fish total in all orders combined). Everything here is Caribbean in origin and often they have weird stuff that I've never seen in LFSs or on other lists.

I did see on their site that Ken, the owner, will be doing some dive training this month and will only be shipping out a few days. If anyone decides to order, keep that in mind.
