howdy y'all!

it's been a moment for me... new job takin loads of my time....
hope everyone had a good holiday...

does anyone have any expirence with this lighting system? i have had a decent expirence with other Coralife products in the past....
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/p ... atid=14704

my T12 crapped out on me, or at least the ballast did. i have been wanting to replace those, and it is just about time to buy a new bulb for the MH. i've got a little extra dough and i want to upgrade my lights for a few reasons.
1. i have to many wires running around for my taste.
2. my MH pendant has to be hung slightly oddly to fit under my canopy
3. i have to run two extention cords just to plug both sets of lights into the same powerstrip.

i want to get a 48" unit with both MH and some kind of actinic. i was hoping for T5's but the price is out of my budget. this 48" unit at 399 i feel is a good value.

thanks for listening....
:)

Well good luck with it. I am not much of a coralife fan but never tried their lighting.

I have a coralife 48" unit. I like it very much. The actinics bulbs that came with mine were pretty cheap (Coralife bulbs are on the cheaper end of the spectrum, I think) and seemed to be drowned out by the MH bulbs. I recently replaced the actinic bulb with a different (costlier) brand, and it made a huge difference.
