On Saturday I brought a medium sized (6" dia.) Bubble Tip Anemone. He has been slowly making his way around my tank (175 gal.) to find his 'happy spot'. This morning he was about 1" away from my Brain Coral, which hadn't fully expanded yet, due to the early hour. When the Brain fully expands, they will be touching. Do I need to move the Brain? How fast do I need to react? Should I let it alone and see if the Anemone moves on? Help me Reefs.org!

Wish I could tell you for sure... - I never had a brain in with a BTA to have something like that have a chance to happen.

I've only had two RBTA's and neither had issues with any corals at all.

Hope it worked out ok. - Doesn't look like you got an answer before the lights probably came on.. :?

Thanks for the response GD. I'm a little anxious to get home from work and see what's going on.

I would suggest moving the brain. Which ever has the stronger sting will win, but I'm not sure which one that will be.
