Help ID white stuff on glass

I just noticed this white ribbon like strings on my glass. Can anyone help me identify it.

Looks like the trail left by a nassarius snail soon after emerging from the sandbed.

What kind of coral is that in the background? Its kind of blurry but it looks nice!
