It would be cool if someone made a device that measured the light under the water in the tank and gave a reading that would say if the light is lacking anything (PAR, Kelvin, wattage). They could go out to a reef and measure the optimal levels for corals and set it up to those standards. This way if you choose say Zone A on a reef, Zone A being SPS zone, the meter would tell you to add another 50 watts of actinic or something. Just a thought. Maybe have a USB port so it could connect to computer software.

I though this had already been with underwater PAR meters.
