Hello everyone,

I have a Sea Apple, red and blue color. Last when I was changing the water, it putt her head outside the water for like 10mn or so. Now she is always floating on the surface and barely getting attached to something. I moved it to the QT because I was affraid it might die and ruin the whole main tank. It is still sloating, and the upper part is still outside the water but its tentacles are open and merged in the water. Simple some part of the body is outside the water. Is that Natural? It is attached to the front glass of the tank but not moving!!

not natural and not good. sounds like air got into the animal...which can be the kiss of death....good idea to remove from tank...sometimes gentle squeeze underwater can remove air but not recommended....keep an eye out and keep water clean and clear and it may recover..otherwise its a gonner...

But it had the head outside the water!!! It wasn't me who pulled it out for a long time. It went out and pulled the head off water. I wanted to squeeze but I got affraid to stress or damage. It is in the QT now stuck to the front and the head is fully in the water. But some part of the body is still somehow above the water level. I'll keep it there untill it recover. Hopefully it will. I love that animal :D
