I was watching my Banggai Cardinals swimming around today and to my surprise, they were spawning! I left for work and came back 3 hours later and they were still going at it. I watched them a little more and finally I saw some eggs come out, but the male didn't catch them... I think that my Cleaner Shrimps enjoyed their meal though. They're still going at it now, even after the first batch of eggs were released.
How long can these guys spawn for in one day? Should I expect to see more eggs tonight (whether the male catches them or not)?
