Ive had luck smearing IC gel over the egg clusters. After living with AEFWs for over a year, I still couldnt tell you how long the gestation period is for the eggs. Ultimately, to beat the plague, I ended up fragging my biggest colonies and tossing out anything small that seemed to have reoccurance problems with them.
Nothing seems to kill the eggs. A weekly dip can get rid of the adults, or you can baste them. They really aren't the death sentence we thought them to be. Here's an article on living with them: http://www.reefhobbyistmagazine.com/arc ... e_6-19.htm
