Good Day,
I am using a Single Tank Liquid Level Controller on my reef tank, and was wondering if you could tell me if this is a good idea or bad. I would like to set the solenoid to a higher point so that I am only using the LLC as a fail safe. Basically I am going to be running my “KALK” top off water mix through the LLC, and using a float valve to control the dosage. Then if the float valve ever failed, the water lever would stop after it got to the solenoid shut off levler.
To break this down even more, is it cool to have the LLC solenoid valve always open. I would like to use my float valve for my initial means to stop the top off water, and then the solenoid valve on the LLC would take over if the Float valve ever failed.
Thanks for this; I am sure it is confusing to understand.
