Skimmer venturi

I've been doing some reading and have found that the stock venturi on the ASM's are garbage, I'm not really that surprised.....anyone who's ever looked at one of them would understand why.

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement venturi that would be of better quality or where I could have one made?

I have a ASM G3 with the stock venturi and I do not see anything wrong with it IME. The Sedra pumps work good and mesh modding the impeller make them better.

i have the asm and the venturi is fine for me too, it produces a lot of air. some people like to do mods to the impeller to make it chop up air more fine.

I also have the ASM with the venturi and have gotten to really like it. I must admit, I am now on my second pump. The first one that came with it just stopped working. No idea what happend to it. Anyway, got a new one (same one) and it is working great. I have noticed that if you face the intake on the pump the wrong direction that it will create a lot of micro bubbles in your display.
