Hello

My problem with the cyano is present since 2-3 months. Need your suggestions.

3-4 months ago I had a problem with Mg, it increased to 1700 ppm because of salt. It took me 1-2 months for the MG values come to normal. Coralin Algea died and I got a problem with cyano.

Since 2-3 weeks I increased CA to 450 ppm and kH to 11dkh. It was lower before. I run Pico Schuran 24hours a day now.

I have phosphat reactor with Rowa. I use 6x54W T5. (3 blue plus, 2 aqua blue special, 1 korallin zucht)

I have tunze 2x 6100 ve 2x6055 controlled by 7095.

Aquarium is 120x60x55.

PH 8, Phosphate, Nitrate 0.

I use RO with mixed bed as water input with 0 ppm with TDS meter.

Only additive is coral food (TM Zooton) 2 times a week, since the problem.

There are pictures below.

Wow, your tanks looks like it is really bad shape :-( I have a feeling you are "jacking around" with your seawater components in a detrimental way.

I would recommend going back to basics - mix up lots of good artificial seawater to 1.025 and heat it. The do a 50% water change every week, siphoning out the cyano as you do so. Run kalkwasser for all your makeup water and/or a calcium reactor.

That should eventually fix the problem.

Looks like he is running a calcium reactor, the Schuran Pico.

How old are your bulbs? Syphoning it out in W/C as James suggested should help.
