i changed my fish tank from 150 gal to 300 gal is my anome dieing please help..has some kind of film goin around it what is that??how do i know when he will die what kind of anome is he?

also i would like to add that just 20 min after i took these pic he went complety inside the orange case he has...

That is a Condylactis anemone, commonly known as a Haitian anemone. They are farely hardy. They can be kept under less than ideal lighting as long as they are fed often with meaty foods. What lighting do you have and what do you feed?

It appears that it may be begining to deteriorate. I would give it some time and dose some Lugol's solution.

In the future, I would research purchases before buying. These creatures are delicate and require specific conditions to survive.

Any sudden changes will adversely affect your tank inhabitants. And moving from tank to tank is one way of doing that.


Did you fully cycle your 300g before moving tanks?
