So I have a 50 gallon uniquarium with a 35g display area, and unfortunately I'm equipped with nothing more than a 39 watt 1800k bulb and a 39 watt 6700 k bulb in a t5 fixture and a 30 watt actinic in a standard fluorescent fixture, maxing out at about 3 wpg...the t5 fixture I have has a reflector specifically designed to direct all of the bulbs' output downward as to no lose any light out of the sides or front which I've heard doubles the wattage....so first off has anyone had any experience with such a reflector? I'd like to find out if what iv heard is fact or fiction....second if I am putting out nothing more than 3 wpg I would like to hear some suggestions for corals...chile corals, most mushrooms etc I'm sure I'd have no problem with but input other than the obvious would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton!

You might try Pachyclavularia Corals like Green Star Polyps, or Palythoa/Zoanthus Corals Button polyps, or some of the leathers. Other than the leathers most of these have the ability to take over the tank.
