I found some four year old Instant Ocean salt in the garage. It has absorbed enough moisture from the air to turn into a paste. Is it usable?

I figure some of the calcium would have precipitated out and therefore no longer fully dissolvable, but I don't care about that.

I don't know. But you could mix it as see how it looks. You could test it before using it too.

My bet would be that it wouldn't mix clear. But that is just a hunch.

It's very likely you'll get precipitated solids that will be insoluble, yes. I wouldn't use it.
