On all my last tanks I used Oceanic salt. It is not availible local and not sure I want to mail order salt. Would would be some good alternatives? I know I can get instant ocean locally. I forget what other ones, but the choises are limited.

I always used instant ocean but recently changed to reef crystals. It's supposed to be the best for reefs. I can't really way I can tell any difference. Since my tank is only 38G, the cost of salt is not realty all that significant. If I were still running my 300G, I'd probably stay with instant ocean due to the cost.

I think I can get that locally. Need to double check. 60 is not to big to worry lots about cost. Water changes are going to be 5 gal or so.

We have a petsmart so I could get reef crystals there. Need to check the LFS to see if he carries that. I think I remember seeing it when I was buying my tank.
