Is Grey Schedule 80 PVC safe for a fishtank, and can someone reccomend a store in Westchester/CT that stocks it?

Grey is schedule 80, and is fine for the tank.

Finding somewhere to stock it locally could be a problem. Try www.savko.com They'll have what you need.

Why the need for grey? You could get a can of Krylon Fusion and paint your pipes. It bonds to the pipes and is reef safe when dry.

Personally i wouldn't use paint, it's only a matter of time.

What do you need in grey, like what fittings?
