What skimmer would you recommend for a 75G cube (24X24X30)? The tank currently has a 15G tall tank as a sump. I only plan on running a big skimmer in the sump. I plan on keeping only SPS and some LPS corals. I am leaning towards an ASM skimmer but don't know yet.

Go with a Octopus Recirculating Skimmer, or Euro ReeUSA recirc, or an Orca Recirc. All are below the 300 range and blow the asm needle wheels away.

That will suck up a huge amount of power. So once you buy the skimmer, you might want to start saving for the electric bill.

Plus you will always have to deal with a clogging problem, noise, and the time it takes to dial it in.

I have a skimmer I got from Reef exotics that worked well on my 125 before I added a sump equal to the main tank.. It needs a power head of up to 800 gal per hr.. Though willing to part with it.. For today's low low price of $80..I will lookup the name and model if it sounds like something you would be interested in....
