Change.org petition to support LGBTQ+ reefers

Another forum is actively discriminating against LGBTQ+ reefers, and non believers. I think our community is too small and awesome for this kind of stuff. Please help put pressure on the people responsible by signing and sharing the petition. Some of their staff have resigned over this, members are leaving, and sponsors are pulling their sponsorship.

What does sexuality have to do with this hobby?

Nothing, which is kinda the point. The discrimination centers around the removal of thread that is essentially the same as "Any other cat loving reefers here?". Cats have nothing to do with this hobby, unless you have one, then maybe you want to find other reefers with cats. Replace 'Cat loving' with LGBTQ and there you have it.

I just googled it because you can find the cached queries. Another interesting one: Lesbian used to be censored on their forum, and replaced by L****n. Seriously... what century do these people live in?

L*****n is a banned word?

Just saying world and thanks for the responses, just hate the thought that some people might be offended, I have a few gay friends that are in the hobby and a l*****n mandarin that kills all suitors tried so far! ;) hey, maybe she just has high standards? :D

Any LGBTQ Rainbow Reefers out of there?

I love Reef 2 Reef, but sometimes wonder if I am the only LGBTQ reefer. My husband and I love to dive, and spend time at Frag Swaps whenever we can, but don’t see a lot of other reefers like us. If you’re out there and feel like it, chime in, stand up and fly the rainbow over your tank.

You absolutely don’t have to, though I do want to point out that it is also your right to sign - it isn’t that they have a special right and that signing somehow infringes on their rights.
