Clam doesn't like Kenya trees??

Noticed the other day that my nice Dersas clam had a pinched mantle where a overgrown Kenya tree had started to touch it. As soon as I moved the Kenya tree the mantle was almost back to its normal shape.
I thought all clams were immune to softies and LPS stings.

Has anyone experience this before?

I had a turbinaria (lps) that started touching my Croe.....
It's mantle shriveled up where the two met.
Moved the turb and now the clam is fine.

Good to know Eric, I also have a turbinaria about 5" away.
Your clam is doing great, except for the overgrown kenya tree problem.

Good to hear! How much more calcium do you have to add now with that big new clam? My doses went way down!
