re: toilet bowl sound from your overflow

Is there anything that I can do to make the water level constant in my overflow and avoid the drop and rise of water and the sound of a flushing toilet every once in a while?

I have the AGA megaflow kit so if anyone has modified this please let me know.

This happened recently.

Thanks.

I am not too familiar with the AGA megaflow but when my durso makes noise I have to clean the hole that let's the air go down the drain.

It is a durso. I think the problem is that I have back pressure in the sump since the drain which is a superflex hose the kind you use with swimming pool applications is touching the bottom of the sump.

If you make the hole too big you can always do it again. Just put some chewed bubblegum over and "adjust" the hole to the right size.

Ernie, the overflow pipe cannot be submerged in the sump......at all. It should be above the waterline. Doesn't have to be any more than a 1/2" above the water, but that should fix your problem.
