i went with my husband. got there at 7:30 and was like 6th in line. there was a family of four that was 1st, had been there since 3pm. they opened later than 9, about 9:15(?) but it wasn't too bad to wait. at least it didn't rain this year. there was some nice live stock but we didn't get any since we'll be starting the new system soon, that was hard. we ordered our 210 reef ready oceanic, a set of lights, got some salt and live rock. they had a good deal on oceanic and aga tanks, $1 per gallon up to 75g. someone could have gotten a 75g for $75. that was impressive. the cost on the lights was good too...about $600 cheaper than I've seen them anywhere else. i'm sure someone here is going to tell me that i could have gotten everything somewhere else cheaper, but what-ev. it was a fun *fish-nerd's night out" for the two of us. we're picking up the tank in two weeks, just about when we are finished prepping the site for it. can't wait.

btw...for anyone about to bad mouth AF and midnight madness, it was last year at MMVI that i met our very own badcoffee standing in line in the pouring rain, and subsequently found out about this site and you lot. ;0) so it can't be all that bad.

and we did get a shout out last night...

And you admit to this on a public forum? :shhh: Brett, little does she know ;)

Congrats on picking up your equipment. I'm sure it's gonna look sweet. And I also know we'll get to see pix ;)
