Bubble on puffers side

Good evening MR,

Came home from work today to notice a bubble on the side of my dog face puffer.. read a few things online, and most people say it is common for them to get “air pockets.”

Had anyone had any experience with this and can they advise what it is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have heard of people scooping them up i a cantainer large enough to get your hand in there and very gently massaging it out to see if it’s air bubble? Is he acting normal otherwise? Swimming normal? Thanks

I scooped him out and trying to rub it out now but no go. Yeah he’s been fine, won’t eat today though.

He’s back in the tank, but not acting the way he was. Hoping it’s just because he was stressed but I have a feeling I am going to wake up to not so good news in the am… sad

You might want to QT him? Treat with antibiotics, Try Humblefish, post pics. Thanks
