Will be getting a tank within two month from now.. Still deciding which one to go with.. And still shopping where I can get the best price.. Suggestion anyone?? Should I go with the Oceanic 58rr w/ Stand or the Oceanic 70 tech w/ stand...
What are the pro on 58rr vs the 70 tech..

Thanks

Im in the same boat Mak.
but Im sure that 58 is too small for me, actuall 70 is too low, but I still need to know what they cost. I would not get the stand, coz it looks like its AGA, not Oceanic. have someone here do a custome stand for you.

more water volume is best & being that its lower, you might get away with lower wattage lighting.

good luck!

oceanic tech tank...its a nice tank.....the 58rr is basically a tank drilled with an overflow.....
tech tanks have starphire front glass....euro braced with drilled holed for return plumbing or closed loop.....square overflow.....i think it has black silicone....

yea, But I think 70 is kinda big.. If the 70 is a 4 feet, then I would get it, but is only 3 feet. I don't know yet.. Still have couple month to decide, since I won't be moving to my new apt in couple month from now.. still get plenty of time to think about it.. But I also like the tech series.. is really nice.. hmm 58rr or 70rr tech.. still thinking...

have you taken a trip to an LFS and looked at both tanks side-by-side?

When I set up my new tank I looked at a bunch of different sizes. Once I saw them all together, I picked the 58, because I like the dimensions better than the others.

sure, I could have set up a 120, or a 75, or a 65. But I lliked the look of the 58.

I built my own stand/canopy, so i can't really give my vote on a factory stand.
