What do you guys think about this possibility.
My 58g is very heavily stocked (see FTS).
Since coming back from my vacation I had a slight nitrate problem which I fixed by doing aggressive water changing and skimming. Now I notice that most of my LPS corals always have their feeder tentacles out two minutes after feeding. I feed them again and 2 minutes later they're out again.
My skimmer is rated for 100g heavily stocked (ER RS 100).
Attached pictures show a rainbow acan colony right after feeding, 2nd acan pict is about 1 minute later and the last one is about 2 minutes later.
btw my candy canes started doing this also along w/just about every LPS I own.
Any ideas?
PS I messed up the order of the acan shots 2nd one is the last.
