any one used canal plastics

to build an acrylic tank? I was wondering if their workmanship is good, cause the guy there ask if the seams were to be siliconed. I thought that silicone doesn't stick to acrylic.

I think both of these shops sell acrylic pieces, not build tanks. I don't know of any NYC area acrylic tank builders.

Acrylic should not be siliconed, but is actually welded together using chemical solvents.

sean at aquatic creations will build acrylic and glass tanks, they can do most sizes i think. They have a bunch of strange tank sizes, and the 6foot cube tank is pretty sweet, but thats probably too big for ya
