Thought I'd share.
So I was redoing my wood floors this week and, against my instincts, did not cover the holes in the hood where the icecap fans are. Long story short, the water was soon covered with a layer of dust, and the water flow sent the dust circulating through the tank.
The next day, my blue acro was completely white/dead (*sob*). Hermits had a feast over the acro tissue. Happily, the floors are complete, the tank has been running with new carbon and poly filter for 48hours, and nothing else died or seems much worse for wear. Doing a water change today.
Anyone have any other suggestions?
