I saw that on RC about a year ago. It's still as cool to look at now as it was a year ago.

Thats rediculous. I guess when you have $$$ to burn you can create projects like those. I cringe just thinking about the cost of doing water changes if those tanks were for saltwater. Not to mention the lighting needed.

These people obvious have problems. I would just build a swimming pool for now and put fish in it. If I want to look at them, I put on a scuba gear and dive in.

After browsing the site, I was amazed

• how many people just dump regular tap water in tank. With $1,400.00 Arrowanna's in it
• One guy made an internal overflow box out stainles steel
• A 300 gallons acrylic tank glued with silicone?

What's wrong with freshwater folks?

WOw thats a big tank. That would of been an awesome reef tank, too bad its fresh water but its still a huge tank.

Freshwater changed with tapwater is fine in my opinion. Just add dechlorinator.

He was already having problems with rust with freshwater, imagine saltwater

In reading it more carefully, in the second paragraph, he states how he couldnt get to detailed because he is paralyzed from the chest down. On that note, this is more amazing! What this guy lacks in physical mobility he made up for in planning and desire. I got nothing but respect for that!
