But what if ur not home does the leak frog send u a text message that u have a leak?:grumpy::sleeping:;)

we

we need a system that will tell us that our ph is low, that the water level is low, that salinily is low, that calcium is low...... A simple text messaging service would do the trick.....

Here's another leak detector: http://www.improvementscatalog.com/product/id/115514.do that I use, what I like about this one is that the alarm unit can be outside the room the detector is in. I have my sump in my basement so I run the alarm unit out of the sump room and closer to the bottom of the stairs so I can hear it from upstairs. I also have one under my hot water heater and it runs outside of that room (under the door) so I have a better chance of hearing it as well-- not that they aren't loud!

I use a leakfrog. I got it on woot.com a year ago. It has saved me twice, once from a flood caused by stupidity and once from a hose that popped out.

Having this is invaluable and it's one of my most cherished reef gadgets.
