emerald crabs

MFer.i just came home and my tank was dark.i turned on the light and 2 freaking emerald crabs were eating my birdsnest.i didnt even know i had emerald crabs.i noticed a couple of days ago my birdsnest was turning whit and i thought maybe my 250 mh lights werent strong enough for it.well now i think i found the culprits.i hope it replenishs itself now that i took them out and put them in my fuge.did anyone else ever have these demon crabs do this to there sps

Gorilla crabs (notorious killers) look similar in body shape to emerald crabs. Can you get a photo of the claws?! Sharp pinchers are a bad sign in xanthid crabs.

i went throgh the search and it looks alot loke a stone crab

Healthy corals usually recover from predation once you remove the predator.

My birdsnest didn't make it from my emerald crab attack. But a lot of that was my fault for not fragging off the injured pieces.
