I was told that black would make the colors pop out more.

I am starting a 75G FOWLR myself, and I bought black paint yesterday. But, but, I couldn't, for the life of me, muster up enough courage to paint the back of my tank. So today, I went into Petland and bought me one of those backgrounds that they have (the one with blue on one side and black on the other). That should cure my indecisiveness.

Maybe you can try that.

Seems like folks here like black. I've started painting my 125 Gallon Blue. In another forum the general consensus was blue LOL. Well, I may as well finish and see how it looks.

Tito if your up for a project you can always try the base rock and foam backround for a "natural" look. I did black pond foam for mine. I like but it all comes down to personal perferance. I'll try and link the RC thread w/ the rock.
