Storage tote as a sump??

Has anyone here used this as a sump, I’m already thinking about what I’ll need for my next tank, and saw this at the Home Depot!!
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated

Sure. Just use the heavy duty one that won't flex when full of water. Here's a video where I used totes i already had versus doing additional custom stuff.

What’s good about this hobby more diy your capable your save money at the end it all does the same purpose.

Just wash the tote in hot water first, then with cold water to remove any manufacturing residue. Depending on the material it may leach overtime so you might want to be mindful of sensitive coral or inverts.

I have used the tote with yellow lid from Lowes as sump for my qt red sea tank, I wanted sump with open concept and using tote as sump and it has been working great, 6 months in and so far so good,
