Been noticing that I've got some sort of worm living in one of my pieces of base rock. He comes out only when the lights are out and shrivels slowly back into the rock with any sign of lite.

I've seen him stretched up to 2 inches and is the width of a medium sized earth worm. He's sort of grey with a few darker colored rings circling him. Tip of his wormness looks just like an elephant

Any ideas what this is? Is he good or bad? I'm guessing where there's one there's more.....rite? Will I need to get him out and if so...how?

I'll continue to try and get pic but the first try didnt come out well and subsequent tries have been even worse.

Thanks....

If he looks like these guys, then he's a bristleworm. They eat detritus and live in your rocks & in the sand..harmless unless you touch them (their bristles WILL stick into your fun, trust me on that...).
Let us know if he doesn't look like these.
