Can I Make A Smaller Batch of Randy's 2 Part?

Specifically for the alkalinity part. Does it have to be 2.5 cups, baked, to 1 gal water? Or can I do it in quart increments?

Hey guys, could it possibly be just like cooking? Like making 1 helping vs 4 helpings!
For instance 2.5 devided by 4=.625 cups which = 10 Tablespoons of baked baking soda to 1 qt ro/di.
But don't hold me to this; double check this with the gurus here..............................
