Hi Everyone!
I have a 150 reef tank with a 30 gallon(Rubbermaid) sump. I had ordered the Tunze 9010 skimmer(3wks ago) but found out fri ups has lost my order. The supplier has stayed on top of things and has offered to replace the skimmer or refund my money.
Now I'm rethinking my choice
I ordered the Tunze because
it fit inside the tank so no worries about floods
it is German made
it fit my budget 350 free shipping
I would consider a in sump(30rubbermaid)
but I'm concerned about the level not being consistent in the sump.
i dont want to go out and buy a tank to keep my sump level and an auto top off for that.
Is there a in sump skimmer that will work with my limited space(21 inches) under my tank in my budget?
Thanks for any in put.
Patrick

you can put a bucket, or other rubbermaid container in the sump you have. Put the skimmer in, and put the overflow hose from the tank into the smaller container. It will overflow and run into the larger sump. The level will always stay the same in the smaller bucket (full)
