I live in tribeca NYC, and im looking for someone who has alot of experiance to come to my apt and help me w/ my 24 gl nano.
I need to be shown how to do water changes, how to clean everything, and compatability for crabs/shrimp/lobsters.
References would help(like a high reefer rating)
Would also like if this could become a once per week thing, for continual water changes, and parameter checking.
Money to be discussed.

I am also looking to get a new stand for my tank, but it must be custom built, bc of my placement of the tank. Any ideas?

help

what brand of nano did you get ? most of the companies make stands for them. there's a few people on here who do tank maintance, i would suggest doing alot of reading before you set it up though, water change's are easy as well as the maintance once you understand this hobby you can always buy the pre-made saltwater. take x amount of water out, replace x amount, make sure to keep water level topped off so salinity doesnt fall on a nano probably about a 1\2 gallon a day atleast thats about what i replace with top off. i would do alot more reading before starting, if you go to the tank thread and read through what other's have done it might make it a little simpler for you, look at the equiptment and ect that most use. this has start to now for alot of people on their tanks

tank has been going for about 7 to 8 weeks. After 6 weeks i put in 2 fire shrimp, then a purple lobster, then some bubble coral.
My tank is a aquapod 24 gallon.
Im going to upgrade to mh lighting soon(have just ordered it). But I dont have that much evaporation( I dont even notice it day to day now, but after a few days I can tell some water is missing.

No one is an expert the best thing you can do is learn for yourself or expect to pay top dollar for someone who does this for a living...An even then they might have questionable ways.... But they will have total control of your reef and this will enable them to keep you in good standings, with your fish of course...
