Aquatic Express

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to work on a fun project with one of our site members. Alex at Aquatic Express asked me to help finish his store and this was the result of about two long weeks of work.

He had already built the stands for the tanks and filled them with water, this made building the cabinets a bit tricky. There were no broken tanks and the project went pretty smooth.

The cabinets are pretty straight forward, I unfortunately did not have time to take photos of the build process. If you have any questions on how they were made please feel free to ask in this thread.

I was in there last week purchased a few zoos although the store looks small it has the best selection I have seen in the 5 boroughs .
I had some questions and Alex (I think is his name) was very helpful

Looks great, might drop by this weekend while i'm in Queens. Alex's a great guy and hope the store does great. And that is Parnell from FT, and look he's smiling.

yes that's Parnell he's also one of the nicest guys I've met. He became my assistant on the build

It seems everyone knows Parnell! people would stop by the store while we were working and recognize him. Even the mailman knew him:lol: We were joking that Alex had a fish celebrity working for him, and they were going to make huge posters of parnell to hang in the store windows.

Wow, I used to live in Ridgewood long long time ago. 402 Onderdonk Ave was where I used to live. Gosh, even the phone # is almost same. I still remember my old phone number since it was so easy, 718-456-009X. Next time I am near that neighborhood, I will definately stop by this place. Looks awsome.
