Hello everyone, I just started a 28 gallon JBJ Nano Cube HQI Aquarium that comes stock with a 150 watt 14,000k HQI Metal Halide Bulb and I'm curious if this would be too much for SPS Corals in a small space. I burned some of my SPS Corals with the same lighting in a 10 gallon Aquarium and I'm not looking to do it again. What type of bulb would you use?

The fixture only contains a 150 watt 14,000k Metal Halide Bulb and four 1 watt LED's for Moonlight. I run these seperately as to enduce Coral Spawning during the Night Hours.

24g nano, 250W sunpod 14k here, before that 150W 14k, 14k is a good mix of white and blue light it produces good growth and is aesthetically pleasing to most. However keep in mind that many people like a very blue or a very yellow look to their tank so 10k and 20k bulbs are possible too. It's all personal preference.
