Just careful with the FWE, its not so much that the FWE hurts something in your tank but rather the toxins the FW's release when they die. The toxins seem to affect fish and clams first then the coral (fish will throw up and stuff). Check some old threads on FWE beuller, and spend a few days siphoning them before you dose the tank. Even if you don;t see any on coral theres prolly alot on the rocks and in the dark places.
oh, and for your question about carbon and a WC, have some SW mixed up and ready in case your tank gets bombed by the toxins. I forgot how long it was on the bottle but think its 15-30 mins before you run fresh carbon. They say to do a small water change after i think.
