Thanks for the kind words guys, this project was more than I originally bargained for. I built a full fish room in the basement for the equipment. It really took me so much longer than I thought it would, it's nice to be ready to enjoy the system again. The tank dimensions are 72x36x24.

Very nice Joe. I know you are not short on livestock supply sources, but if you need any frags etc. just let me know. I'm sure other members would be more than happy to help get you back up and running too.

BTW, feel free to post pics from your amazing former system as many of our newer members have not had the pleasure. Randy

Thanks, ironically all my corals that were in friends tanks for safe keeping, were lost due to system failures of one kind or the other over the year. So now I find myself in need of frags, especially ones that use to be from my old tank. I would love to take people up on any offers for frags in a few weeks.

pics from my old system?? I've got them in a plenty.

and you know we want a peak under the stand

There is nothing under the stand, I put all the equipment in the basement. So I put draws in the stand. I'm really loving the storage though, and my wife is happy that I do not have to keep any of my reef supplies in the kitchen anymore. :wink1:

Real nice wood work!
Your old tank looked gorgeous! What did you end up doing with all those corals?

I ended up fraging all the corals and gave them to three people to hold for me, with the thinking that if someone's tank crashed I would still have corals in another tank at someone's house. Unfortunately, everyone who had my corals had mishaps and only a very few pieces made it. So really I am starting over. I knew that there was a chance that I might lose my corals, I'm just grateful that people offered to hold them for me, I know crashes happen and acros can go south quickly, so I'm not bothered by it. Now I just gotta find me some nice acros again.

The thing that sucks is, I had so many corals in my old tank that I literally had about 20-30 nice sized frags at any one time to do trading with. So I was a trading madman. At one point, I had so much stuff in my main tank, I just had people come over and I gave away 2-3 IO buckets filled with acros from my tank. So it's sort of weird having an empty tank now.
