Do a search here on Manhattan Reefs for the snails. Several options are discussed about the removal of those pests.

Are they on your clams?
If they are you need to brush them off with a soft new toothbrush once the lights go out.
It takes alot of those snails to bring down a clam, however still get rid of them ASAP.

Possibly trap them

This may work, First if you have any clams remove them from your tank and pick off and kill the snails you see the brush the shell clean to remove any eggs. I would take a small plastic container like a 1 Qt. take out food container with lid. cut around 6 small holes at the side bottom edge big enough for the snails to crawl in. I would then bait it with chopped clams w/ garlic to attract them in. Sink it in the bottom of tank and change food to something else if the clams don't work.
Ive also read that Scooter Blennys will eat them
Good luck

IME......there are 2 types:

1 that feeds on Clams, the others will feed on snails.

Do you have snails?

Pyramids usually come out when the lights are out, unless you see them feasting on a moving snail.
With no host (snail), they will die off.

If you see them on your zoas, they are another type of pest.
