Sad news

It is really great that everyone thinks that the person could be caught if this post was not put up, but honestly, the likely hood of that happening is really slim. The person is not locked up in a room somewhere staring at this posting and planning his next move because of it. It's a terrible thing that happened but at least now, whoever did this is gone from the great community of people from MR. So actually, the loss was greater on his part, let's just hope the fish will be taken care of.

Give a description of the person! Maybe someone will recognize him. Also, what about cameras? Im sure the store has some sort of video surveillance.

I didnt see the sale post. How much were the fish worth?

Sorry for being an ass but y would u leave such an expencive item avalible for its taking?

MR should nt warry about their reputation since we are ALL a good bunch of folks.

IF the fish were stollen, the imposter will get what he deserves in the end.

Because livestock (small gobies, shrimp, crabs) such as this are difficult to catch in a tank and are often held in a floating container for easy removal upon sale. Perhaps your local LFS doesn't carry such items.

When I first joined this community, I was amazed at how trusting everyone was, posting addresses & phone number & such. Coming from all of the other forums I'm a member of (if you google my SN you will find them all) I was shocked. But then again, I don't see the, "(Insert SN) Robbed me!" or "SCAMMER ALERT!! (Insert SN)" on here. Just goes to show the type of world we live in, people have to be more street smart.

It's not posted on the front page but people are encouraged to not post their personal info on MR, or anywhere for that matter. Any exchange of personal info should be done either through PM or emails. There are to many idiots and bad people out there just looking for people personal info.

Were the cops called? did they phyically see this person take the fish? was a 61 taken? technically, you just have CPSP and a DD5 to the squad. hopefully there was some kind of video surveillance.
