Maxi-Jet 600 w/Sea-Flow mod flow question

I have a pair of these puppies and they put out some serious flow. Too serious, in fact. How can I reduce the flow somewhat? Can I trim the propeller a bit or will it cause uneven spinning and vibration? TIA for any advice or suggestions.

Reducing the size of the blades will reduce the flow. To get them even you can try spinning it with a drill against some sandpaper. If its off a bit it can cause some noise from the imbalance.

For the tunze nano streams, I have seen where people have siliconed over some of the water intake slots to reduce flow. I would think the same idea would work for the Sea Flo. I would definitely try that first, before messing with the blades.
