Just In The Last Few Days I M Starting To See A Lot Of Red Slimy Hairy Alge Also Green Type Mothy Alge My Mh Are On About 6 Hours Vho About 8 Give Or Take A Few Minuts What Is There To Do?

there are many variables that will contribute to your red slime algae.

- lighting (maybe there on 2 long or the bulbs are old)
- overfeeding
- overstocked tank
- not enough nutrient exportation (skimming, water change)
- phosphates
- rodi (changing the filters)

as you can see this is just some of the problems that can cause many types of algae... u got some testing to do ..

FEED 5 DAYS A WEEK
FISH ONLY SIX AND A FEW INVERTS
WATER CHANGE EVERY 3 TO 4 WEEKS
POOS BETWEEN 0-.5
RODI MEETER READS 1 I THINK ITS THE RO WATER GOING TO CHANGE TOMORROW

Search MR for cyanobacteria.

What tempeture is your tank. Mine was running at 78 , when I get it down to 76-75 it seems go go away a bit.
