Thanks CK! CK knew of my demise with the remora skimmer, and my light fixture not hanging over the center of my tank.
Here is what my buddy came up with::biggrin:

First he made me a pre-skimmer box for the remora to help with the skimming of the surface of the water, as well as trapping any bubbles coming from it's return.

Second he made brackets/legs for my sunpod! It no longer needs to hang from the ceiling where it was not centered.
