Google puts the tank at about 250 depending on where you look.

I would upgrade the skimmer but I would also check out nano reefs on the possibilities you can use on it.

Good luck with the new set up. For me my tanks were kinda the same as when you buy your first motorcycle....you start off with a 600/750 and before you know it you want that harley 1100 fatboy....lol

I want to add more room. I woundt add anything else(well, I am getting a clam either way). I just want to add more Gallons to the tank, and give my live stock alittle extra room.

What about getting a custom made 60 callon tank?
60 gallon cube 24 x 24 x 24 Cost $399.99.
I would have them put in a section for surface skimmer/heater/pumps/etc.
Is that a bad idea?--Seems to me like the best way to maximize my space/get the most gallons possible.(Could this be just to much for me???)

Oh yeah, Im doing a hang-on refugium either way, b/c gives me more room.

It depends on what u want to house in this ultimate system of urs...

for a 60 gallon, u will need a good skimmer...(sump will be a must)

if I had anything above a 30 gallon, I would run a sump with skimmer...

If u still anxious for that mandarin, in a 60 gallon, with enough rock will good to support its food supply.

The mandarin is not worth getting in over my head.
I dont want a sump.
Just want refugium/real good skimmer(plan to upgrade on whatever tank I get).
I think ill be ok with the 34 and skimmer/ref, but the 60 might be to much for what I plan to run.(I think you agree based on your response)

If u would only respond on what u want to house in ur tank...

Its ok to make mistakes, no 1 here wants to bash u, but give u a loyal advice that will lead u to wisdom raising a successful system and avoid questions like " how come my fish and corals are ding?". :grouphug:

I want as big a tank as possible without having a sump.
I want to keep it simple for now, maybe in a little while Ill upgrade and get a sump(but for now I want as hassle free/least cleaning) as possible
