Purple Up

I bought a bottle the other day, have not used it, but was going to start this weekend, but now I am afraid because everything is okay and I don't need to create any problems.

Does it really work? Does anyone here use it? Or am I just going to waste my time and create a problem?

Purple Up is not going to be effective if your calcium/alkalinity levels are already up to par via dosing or water changes.

Purple up really is a waste of money, just get your calcium, alkalinity, and lighting right and it'll grow fast by itself. Purple up really gives no noticable changes to the rate of growth.

I used it in my first ever reef,& never noticed a difference.Trade it for a bag of carbon or something.

Good for your live rock is all.Not really made for inverts except snails.Their shells turn purple.Gives it a nice look to your rock.
